Essential & Urgent Care
We’re committed to providing a safe and clean environment for our patients, clinicians and families while now providing essential & urgent care. We have reviewed our health and safety, undergone PPE training to produced the following policy to keep you as safe as possible.
Telephone Consultations
All new and returning patients will need to have a telephone consultation. This is for everyone’s protection and forms part of your initial consultation. We will need to ask if you or any household member has a fever or symptoms of COVID-19 or if anyone is deemed as high risk in this regard.
Social Distancing, Appointments & PPE
Within the clinic we have provided adequate space to allow at least 2 metres between people in most situations and we are running on limited appointments to avoid a full waiting room. In addition we have screens and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). We ask that all who visit the clinic do so with a face mask or covering where possible. It is essential that you are on time for your appointment (see below) while not waiting unnecessarily early. The clinic is closed to walk-in’s, with the intercom system being used for entry so don’t forget to “buzz”.
Infection Control Measures
All visitors to the clinic will be required to use the hand sanitiser in reception and have their temperature taken. From our PPE training, certified by the British Medical Journal, we will be wearing appropriate protection and infection control will be carried out between patient visits. If you or a household member have a fever or new/persistent cough you must stay at home!
Lateness & Missed Appointments
Most lateness from our clinicians has previously been from patients arriving late. We thank everyone for their patience in the past and now ask for understanding that we cannot now mitigate for this issue. If you are late you will lose your appointment and still be charged.
Your Decision
Lastly and importantly we would like to remind you that you are entering the clinic at your own risk. While we are doing all we can it is important for you to know that our sessions require contact within 2 metres and that no PPE provides 100% protection. Musculoskeletal issues can be life changing but are rarely life threatening. Please consider this when attending Falcon Health.
